Introduce your children to fun in the water with these kiddie pools

Whether you’re looking for a cool spot to relax in the evening or a place to get your toddler blowing bubbles in the water, there are backyard swimming pools to suit…

Water. Children are drawn to it. And secretly, or maybe not so secretly, every kid wants a pool. Backyard pools used to need a big area and a big investment. But today’s kiddie pools provide big fun for kids of all ages.

Family-sized fun

As a swimming pool or a ball pit, you’ll find a use for this inflatable pool all year round. Inflates in just a few minutes and empties quickly with two drainage valves. This large pool, just under 10 feet deep and 6 feet wide, fits the entire family. The walls are made of double-thick naphthalene, it is lead and BPA free, and certified safe. Hear a leak but still can’t find it? Apply soapy water to the area and just watch – the air will make bubbles so you can identify the hole and lengthen the life of your pool.

Twice the options

One great feature is the big shower from the frog sprinkler. Simply attach a garden hose and it sprays water past the pool. It’s easy to reach the kids or kids-at-heart on the grass or patio, and include them in the fun. The blue and green pool has an interesting geometric design, too.

Sturdy construction

Cool off in sweet, fruity style. Beach, backyard, in the basement, this kiddie pool is sturdy enough for a sandbox or ball pit, and strong enough for a pet bed (sometimes they want to climb in, too). This watermelon patterned pool has so many uses. The bright design adds a festive touch to your occasion. Your little one will love playing in his or her very own watermelon pool. Each of the three inflatable side rings has its own valves, and comes with a patch kit just in case.

Quick inflation and deflation

You can’t overfill this pool. It is specially designed with an overflow slit that releases water so when someone like dad gets in the pool, the water won’t flow out over the sides. Two dolphins and the tail make this turquoise pool a treasure for your child’s adventures. Hook up the hose to the biggest of the three dolphins and shower in another layer of fun. Add balls or floaties and your kids will entertain themselves on the high seas all year long.

Mini waterpark

What youngster doesn’t love a slide? Especially when it’s safe and comfortable, with a cushioned landing pad for even head-first slides. There are also four inflatable toys included. A little mushroom, two small ring tosses, and a pink glazed donut with sprinkles adorn this inflatable kiddie pool fun zone. Each chamber inflates in a minute and is made with thick plastic, but comes with repair patches for good measure. With room for three or four toddlers, we wish we had one to play with when we were little.
