The Instant Pot is one of the best kitchen gadgets to have nowadays. It’s affordable, practical and super easy to use. You can basically cook anything in it, from desserts and soups to frozen meats.

I am a professional chef and food blogger, and I have been using the Instant Pot for over five years now. I love my Instant Pot so much that I use it at least three times a week. On my blog, I have over 100 Instant Pot recipes to pick from. They’re all quite simple and easy to follow–if you are a novice to the Instant Pot, or are looking to add some easy recipes to your arsenal, then this is for you!

Below are seven easy and delicious Instant Pot recipes, in no particular order. They are all amazing and can be rotated basically every day of the week. Hope you will love them as much as I do!

1. Orange Chicken

Instant Pot Orange Chicken is one of my most visited recipes on the blog. It has over 5 million views and counting! The dish is super flavorful and tastier than takeout–and is ready in less than 30 minutes. The dish is budget-friendly and you can make it with chicken or beef.

Feel free to make a larger batch and store in the fridge for days to come. For full recipe details, please visit this link.

2. Perfectly Fluffy Rice

If you want perfectly cooked rice, then cooking it in the Instant Pot is the best way to go. My first Instant Pot recipe was white rice–I couldn’t believe how perfectly cooked and fluffy the rice turned out. Since then, I always cook rice in the Instant Pot.

It is important to remember that the water to rice ratio is always the same: 1 cup of rice to 1 cup of water. If you are planning on cooking 2 cups of rice, only use 2 cups of water, whether you are cooking white or brown rice. The only thing you have to adjust is the cooking time. You can find out the exact time and steps for various types of rice in this post.

3. Chicken Tikka Masala

Instant Pot Tikka Masala is the perfect 30-minute meal to enjoy during the busy weekdays. It is super creamy and flavorful with a hint of spiciness to it. It goes well with rice or naan and is the ultimate Indian comfort food.

The pressure cooker does an excellent job when cooking chicken breast. It comes out succulent and tender. The addition of cream makes this dish a must-try!

If you like pork chops, you are going to love them in the Instant Pot. They are super tender and delicious and you can cook them frozen if desired because the Instant Pot does a great job whether the pork chops are fresh or frozen.

The secret to juicy and tender chops when cooking in the Instant Pot is to use bone-in and thicker cuts. I love using bone-in chops about 1-inch thick. Serve them over rice or Instant Pot mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
