‘Below Deck’ Star Expertly Shuts Down Troll Who Tells Her to ‘Become a Full-Time Mother’

This mom-to-be is being mommy-shamed before she even gives birth.

The pregnant Aussie chief stewardess gave this troll exactly what he deserved.

Celeb moms have notoriously taken the brunt of working mommy-shaming–apparently, even during a pandemic.

Aussie Hannah Ferrier, the 33-year-old pregnant star of Below Deck Mediterranean, a spin-off of the popular reality show Below Deck, which highlights the crew members of the most elite yachts in the world, posted a pic of herself on Instagram showing off her new bump–and gushing about how much she loves pregnancy so far.

“I always thought people were crazy when they said they enjoyed being pregnant but I totally get it now!!” Hannah wrote. “From the changes in my body, to the closeness in my relationship, to feeling kicks and movement and I’m especially loving falling head over heels in love.”

A commenter, however, thought the first-time mom’s decision to continue working on the yacht once she has her baby was unwise. On the photo of the glowing mama-to-be, the troll wrote, “I hope that you will choose to retire from your yachting career and commit to raising your child personally, becoming a full-time mother to your child.”

I’m sorry, what century is it? The chief stewardess hasn’t even given birth yet, and she’s already being working-mom shamed. Ugh.

Hannah clapped back expertly with, “Just because I retire from yachting doesn’t mean I will be a full-time mother. Everyone is different and having a happy and fulfilled mother is a lot better for the child than having a mother who’s around 24/7.”

News flash, troll: Every mom is a full-time mom. Hannah explained that she’s comfortable enough financially to keep up with her lifestyle and that she’s looking forward to being a mom. “I’ve honestly never been happier in my life.”

Though we’re sure that wasn’t her first troll, nor will it be her last, we’re glad she’s already got a handle on how to fend for herself. Keep it up, Mama, it’s only up from here.
